Over the last few weeks Year 5 have developed their Forest School skills through:-

• Developing an awareness of types of wood.
• Recognise which wood is suitable for burning and using for craft activities.
• Created bird feeders and identified birds need to survive.
• Built dens using tripod lashing and created camouflage.
• Used saws to cut wood safely.
• Used secateurs to safely cut twigs.
• Prepared pancake mix, cooked and cleaned up afterwards.
