A Typical Day

  A typical day will follow this pattern:

  • 7.30am - Acorns before-school provision begins for attending pupils 
  • 8.45am to 8.55am - 8.45: Gates open for parent/carers to drop off children
  • 8.55am - Whistle blown for school
  • 8.55am - Morning registration 
  • 9.00am - 10.30am - Morning learning sessions
  • 10.30 - 10.45am - Breaktime 
  • 10.45am - 11.55am - Morning learning sessions
  • 12 - 1 - Lunch time
  • 1.00pm - 2.15pm - Registration & Afternoon learning sessions
  • 2.15-2.30pm - Breaktime
  • 2.30 - 3.30 - Afternoon learning sessions
  • 3.30pm - School closes
  • Acorns after-school provision - until 6pm 

Children who arrive after the gates have closed need to enter school via Reception.

If your child is absent from school, please telephone the school office to report the absence.

Weekly assemblies that are delivered focus on a range of SMSC events and ideas to provide a broad and balanced curriculum offer for our pupils including awareness of British Values, diversity and protected characteristics. 

Weekly recognition of 'Proud Learning' achievements take place on Fridays.

We meet that state-funded mainstream school's expectation that we should deliver a typical school week of at least 32.5 hours.
